10 Island Race is the race where teams through kayak paddling, running and swimming should get to the highest peak of all the ten islands of Öckerö municipality. A unique multisport race in a unique arena.

The Öckerö archipelago is just outside Gothenburg. Start and finish of the 10 Island Race is at Hönö Klåva on Hönö island. The race is divided in two parts. Over the first seven islands you kayak between the islands and use map and navigation to run to the highest peak and each check point. The last three islands and their check points is reached following a marked swimrun course. After you leave your kayak you change to swimrun gear and follow the course south. You run over the islands and islets and swim between them. All who has done the race talks about the variety and beauty of the archipelago and it is frequently mentioned as one of the most beautiful race arenas in Sweden. Perhaps anywhere.

You compete in teams of two and complete the race during 5-9 hours through a total of 26 km of running, 18 km of paddling and approximately 2 km of swimming. From 2017 the race class use same type kayaks while you are free to use whatever kayak you prefer in open class.
